Earth and Honey
It is estimated in Aotearoa New Zealand we generate 17.49 million tonnes of waste per year, of which an estimated 28% of materials are recycled and the rest goes to landfills.
Our values support sustainability and reusability which is why Earth & Honey, a Taimahi operated enterprise, seeks to create and support products that have the lowest impact on New Zealand, our people, and our wildlife.
All our products are either made at Taimahi’s Whangārei location or sustainably sourced from local New Zealand businesses who operate with the same philosophy as Earth & Honey.
Taimahi Trust
Taimahi Trust is a non-profit organisation based in Whangārei, New Zealand.
Our entrepreneurial approach is about creating meaningful work that provides life opportunities for people with disabilities, doing mahi to bring great products, fresh delicious food, and awesome service to our local community and throughout New Zealand. Everything we do is done with the objective of creating independence.
Having a job and being part of a team fosters a sense of belonging, purpose and being part of something bigger than yourself. Having the opportunity to contribute meaningfully, in an accepting, supportive team, can be life-changing for people who haven’t experienced this before, and that’s what Taimahi Trust is all about.
